About:
Dave was born in Baltimore and grew up in the
Baltimore/DC metro area. Radio is actually his second career.
After being glued to the radio and television on 9/11/01,
he realized the impact broadcasting can have on a
community and wanted to be a part of that. He left his job in IT
to attend the Broadcasting Institute of
Maryland a few months later.
Career:
Dave's first job on the air was right here at 92.5 WINC FM...
and since then he's done just about every shift you can do in radio
(including afternoons on WINC-FM!), produced the Baltimore
Ravens network broadcast, and even created and programmed
a brand new radio station. WINC has always been home, and
he's excited to be back, on the air from 9am-1pm
and programming the music.
Interests:
When not on the radio, it's a safe bet you can catch
Dave touring the wineries of Maryland and Virginia
with Paula Kidwell, working on his house,
playing with his dog Chloe or sitting
on the beach in Rehoboth, OC or VA Beach.
(hmmm...maybe the house bit should have been, more
realistically, at the end, said Dave's overgrown lawn.)
